Hello, this is my first time to this forum. I'm going to be in Monteverde and Arenal in early February and am looking forward to a very adrenaline filled time. Does anyone have any suggestions on good rafting trip, or any other fun things to do in the area? I'm also looking forward to taking a lot of pictures. Any suggestions on good nature reserves or hikes in the area?

Rafting, sure....
This guy can set you up for a 1/2 day rafting trip for $45... The same price you pay if you just show up at the rafts.. Of course, he gets a kickback, but who cares.. You pay the same. http://www.rancholeona.com/
The rooms are clean.. and cheap... Don't believe it when it says it is in the heart of the rain forest.. bullshit... It's on the main highway. lol.. but still, it is pretty nice.. he can set you up Charlie |
