I'm planing on spending 3-4 weeks in Costa Rica beginning late May. I'll mainly be surfing, and probably be without a car. As I'll be on my own, I'm after a few places with good nightlife even in the low season, so it's easy to at least meet people etc. Anyone have any ideas? I'll probably go to Tamarindo anyway, and pass through Jaco at some stage, but if there's anywhere else that's a bit more remote, yet still with a good atmosphere in May/June, I'd be grateful to know. The driest area is northern Guanacaste with some good surfing at Witches Rock & Ollies Pointe. Some night life in Playa del Coco Bus service is good or you could use Fantasy Bus or Interbus http://www.graylinecostarica.com/fantasy_bus.html http://www.interbusonline.com/ Good Luck
