Without a doubt if you are intending to visit Europe you have to prioritise what you want to see and then schedule your trip around your 'must do's. Also what are your interests, architecture, history, art eg do you really want to see the Mona Lisa, the Meridian Line, the Tsars Winter Palace the Crown Jewels etc? Once you identify these you can compile your must do list. But please, don't fall into the trap of a lot of Americans and do Paris one day, London the next etc as it is a standing joke over here.
London (if you have never been) is a must do. Barcellona, Paris, Berlin, Prague, Venice, Moscow, etc. Ireland is well worth a visit too. Have you been to Europe before, how are you travelling, how long will you be here?
But London has so much to offer. I was there on Tuesday for the day and it never ceases to amaze me, a city of such diversity and with so much to offer.
Good luck.
