I want to explore scuba diving in CR. ill be there on May 31 but not sure what side of the country should I go? I also want to do all the tourists stuff beaches, surfing white water rafting ……..etc. I have 7 days total but I need to be In San Jose for 3 total days and what else can I do in San jose? . I think I might have to a rent a car; crazy roads and terrains don’t scare me because I lived in a much worse driving condition area and I’m almost professional driver. . Any advice? im leaning towrd manuel antonio. good pick?
Also, if you are planning a trip around the same time, I would like to have travel buddy and we can split a lot of expenses. im 31 yrs male and devilish out of the Washington DC area

Hey Samy:
We have a PADI dive shop over here, and there's a killer white water rafting trip you can take on the Rio Pacuare. The price is $95 pp and it INCLUDES private transportation from anywhere in San Jose, to the raft trip, then on to your door at any hotel in the Puerto Viejo area. We also have a zip line canopy tour, fishing trips, and excellent snorkeling and gorgeous, uncrowded beaches on this side. Cahuita National Park is just north of us.
