If I'm in Costa the first week in October what should I expect as far as rain.

October is still rainy season, but it depends what part of the country you are visiting. Rainy season out at the beach (for the most part) is afternoon showers with morning and late afternoon sun. I actually enjoy the rain. It cools things down. It's nothing you can't handle... Have fun!
