I have been sent information on some property that meets my requirements that is located in the Upala area. Is anyone familar with this area. How is the weather there? Are there many gringos in the area? My wife and I speak limited spanish, although we are trying to correct that, I don't think we are prepared to move into an area that we will be the only gringos. the best way to find out is, if you travel to uppala:).

i like uppala and the surrounding area but the most americans lives in the region of Peninsula Nicoya/Tamarindo, Quepos, San Jose and Golfito/Osa Area.
