Manuel Antonio
Nationalpark |
|
|
| It may be the
smallest, but this is probably the most popular national park of Costa
Rica with foreign visitors. It is just a few kilometers to the south
of Quepos, with easy, convenient access. |
| This unique park
combines white sandy beaches with tropical rainforest, replete with
fantastic flora and fauna that continues to flourish. |
| One can meander
along serendipitous paths, charting his or her own course, as the walkways
are marked and described very well. |
| The paradisiacal
bay invites you to in for a dip as the sun shines brilliantly over the
shore. There are many activities available, including diving, and
the quaint restaurants along the beach offer delicious meals at reasonable
prices. |
| The park is open
from 7.00am till 5:00 pm daily. Entrance fee is $8 US. Guided tours
of the park are also possible, and very instructive, by the highly
informative local guides. |
