You may have to come more than once to try all 5 different beers brewed right there on the premises. Bocas (snacks) also served with drinks.

Teatro Nacional

This splendid historical building, originally opened in 1897, is worth not only a day visit to revel in its classic architecture, but also in the evening for its notable productions. 

With this building the coffee aristocracy built itself a magnificent, enduring monument. Tour the superbly furnished entry hall, vestibule, staircase and main hall.  Built with marble and bronze, beautiful hardwoods, gold and stucco, it is a sight to behold.  The chandeliers, mirrors, statues and paintings are also marvelous. 

Beatle Bar

Rock`n roll from the good old times from CD`s. The walls are filled with memorabilia of the Beatles. 

On Wednesdays and Saturdays there is karaoke. Sometimes also live acts play. 

Located between Avenida Central and Avenida 1. (25 m south of the Hotel Del Rey). 

Bar Patagonia

Bar, club, disco with DJ`s, and fashion shows. 

Located in Rio Oro de Santa Ana, by the Red Cross, 2 km west, on the right side. 

Key Largo

In a beautiful old Colonial house crossed to the Morazon Park one finds the most well-known and probably most exciting night club in Costa Rica. 

The atmosphere alone, because of the club’s popularity, is worth the visit. 

But be forewarned: Key Largo is a hot spot for prostitution in the city. This is no place for the Mrs.

Blue Marlin Bar

This bustling bar is usually packed every night, with 2 TV’s running non-stop with the best international sports events. The girls in that bar are not only very attractive, but eager to please.  Doing business with them is a pleasure.

Avenida 1 between Calle 9 and Calle 11.

Olympus

This striptease club currently does not charge an entrance fee. However, be ready to spring for some drinks, and particularly for the beverages of the lovely ladies that dance there.
