We returned from CR last year on day before Easter. Downtown San Jose was so deserted it was almost scarey; but the traffic heading out of town on Thursday must fill the beaches. Beware, they also shut down bars and lock up the booze for the weekend too. This year,we've made sure to avoid this time entirely.
