In Jaco, may I recommend Canciones del Mar? It's not a hotel room, it's a condo. Their website is: www.cancionesdelmar.com , their prices are listed and it's a great place to stay. They units consist of an airconditioned bedroom, 2 queen beds, full bathroom, living area with either a balcony (upstairs) or a patio (down) off the living area and a fully equipped kitchen. Full maid services is provided. The pool and gardens are gorgeous. They also offer a free breakfast. It's on the beach, close to everything in town and great people. Can't say more than that. We stay there every time we go to CR (for the last 11 years).
