You get to Sixaola and buy your exit timbre (stamp ~$1) at the grocery store. The Costa Rica side asks you for the stamp upon exiting. You cross the bridge and clear immigration at Panama ($5 US Dollars). You hop a coop taxi which goes just outside Changuinola and takes you to a farm. The boat taxi ($5) goes along a canal which parallels the coast for awhile then you make your way to Bocas Del Toro through more open water - yet still protected by the island chain. Watch out for Sunbather's Eruption if you snorkel (lots of jellyfish). It can be a pain getting back into Costa Rica because they make you show them a ticket out of Costa Rica. If you don't have one they make you buy a (bogus?) ticket ($5) ticket back to Bocas even though you probably won't use it.
