It is about 100 meters from the beach (in Nosara there is practically nothing on the beach as it is all wildlife refuge and thus building on the beach is illegal). The Iguana is the "hub" of activity for Norteamericanos, walk to beach with great surf,has a great bar and resturant, is close to other establishments (bars, resturants, small hotels, surf scools bakeries, markets etc). Nosara is notoriously spread out and the Guilded Iguana is about as central as you can get. Live music most Tues evenings. Patty, Chiqui, Jungle Joe and company will make you feel right at home.
