If you are looking for nightlife I recommend staying in the Quepos area. There are planty of bars and discos to go to such as Arcoiris and Sargento Garcias(I liked this place because of the Ladies Night's twice a week)....these places are always happening. The main disco to go to in Manuel Antonio is called Mar y Sombra and Saturday night is the night to go there. If you are looking for some cheap budget places to stay there are a bunch located right around the center of the town around the bus station area...I have stayed at Hotel el Parque and Hotel Sanchez before, I had an enjoyable stay and paid no more than 8 US dollars a night...it all depends on what you are looking for. There are ofcourse alot more hotels in the area that are more in a normal price range, just shop around. Enjoy your stay and Pura Vida!
